How to Create a Test Patient for a User to Practice Using Tridiuum ONE with

This training document explains a quick way to create test patients for user's who are interested in playing around on the Tridiuum ONE web platform or Tridiuum ONE Connect.  If the patients are created for Tridiuum ONE Connect users, the providers will automatically assign to them under the PATIENTS tab on their app.  Read How to Add a Patient to learn how to add patients and help assist in creating test patients for providers.  The following steps will walk you through how to appropriately create a test patient from the ADD PATIENT box.  


  1. MRN: Create a fake MRN number (should not start with 0, can not be a duplicate of another MRN, and must be longer or shorter than your organizations typical MRN's)

  2. Primary Site:  Assign the test patient to the site of the user who requested the test patient

  3. Physician, Therapist, or Group: Choose provider who requested test patient

  4. First Name: Any name to identify it is a test patient (examples: Test, Patient, Provider, User...)

  5. Last Name: Any name to identify it is a test patient (examples: Test, Patient, Provider, User...)

  6. Date of Birth: Select a random date of birth.  NOTE: if test patient is 17 or under, test patient assessment will be the Youth Mental Health Assessment (if the site has that assessment available to them)

  7. Test Patient: Assign to Yes from drop down.  

    This is the most important step in this process due to the fact that the sites data will not count towards the test patient in your analytics reporting. 

  8. Click SAVE CHANGES when information is filled out correctly.  The patient will save to the assigned providers PATIENTS tab

These are the required items in order to create a test patient.  If you would like to add other items not marked with a * you can do so without any of the test patient data being affected. 


If the test patient was created properly, they will appear on the user's PATIENTS tab on the Tridiuum ONE platform and Tridiuum ONE Connect. The user can use this patient to practice using the application to get comfortable with the Mental Health assessment and learn how to use the platform and all its capabilities. If the step's were followed above and the patient is not appearing on the PATIENTS tab for the User, please contact Tridiuum through the Customer Support Portal or contact your Customer Success Manager.
