How to Check a Patient's Copay

The following training document will walk you through how to check a patient’s copay on Tridiuum ONE.

When the patient books an external provider appointment with a Call Center agent the patient’s current insurance, co-insurance (if applicable), and copay at the time of booking will be verified.  As the external provider you will still need to confirm the patients copay and insurance at the time of the visit via the typical insurance confirmation routes you have been using. This is because the Experian server is only checked at time of booking and insurance and copay can change between booking and the actual appointment. The copay amounts are provided as guidance and should never be relied on for actual charges without confirmation via conventional channels.

As a provider you are able to view what was provided to the patient.    

 

  1. Go to Patient Profile page.

  2. Select View Patient Info.

  3. Select the Insurance/Payment tab.
