How to Transfer Patients to a Different Provider at your Practice

The following training document will show you how you can transfer a patient from one provider to a different provider at your site.

This functionality is only available for users listed as Scheduling Administrators in Tridiuum. If you do not have access to view the providers at a site within your group, reach out to your organization administrator to gain access to that site.

 

  1. When you login, go to the SCHEDULING tab.

  2. Search for the provider who had the patient that needs to be moved.

  3. Find the patient who needs a different provider, click on the appointment, and click EDIT.

  4. To change the provider, type in the providers name in the Provider section. The provider names will automatically appear on the drop-down. You can also change the appointment date and time if necessary along with the type of appointment. Click SAVE when the appointment is up to date.

    1. If the provider name does not appear, this is because you do not have management access to that provider. Reach out to your organization administrator to add the site the provider works at to move (must be a site within your group practice).

  5. To confirm the appointment was moved, you can search the providers schedule you moved the patient appointment to, and confirm the appointment was moved properly. This patient will now be accessible to the provider who needs to see them at the patients next scheduled appointment.
