Athena Integration
Previously, we implemented passing member insurance ID & plan name to Athena through the appointment fields "insuranceidnumber" & "insuranceplanname". This ended up creating an extra patient case in Athena, and it required additional work for our customers to manually close out those cases. We have enhanced this behavior by passing the insurance ID & plan name through the "bookingNote" field. This will ensure that a patient case isn't created and will reduce workload for our customers.
Site & Visit Type Slots
Slots were updated earlier this year to provide support for both multi-site and multi-visit type slots. Based on data reviewed in production within the last month, it was possible to create slots where either the site or visit type is populated in the legacy fields. We have updated this to no longer use these fields.
Migrated data within the original single-value fields to the array fields.
Cleaned up API, DSBO, and user interface code that still relies on the original single-value fields.
Cleaned up integrations code that still relies on the original single-value fields.
