Telehealth Video Sessions
We have added a new toggle for permissioned providers to opt in/out of Video Appointments. If turned on, the provider will be able to:
- Create In Person and Virtual Availability on Scheduling tab - We’ve added In Person and Virtual checkboxes, if the role has telehealth enabled and the provider accepts telehealth appointments. Both checkboxes are checked by default and at least one is required to create the availability.
- Create Scheduled Video Sessions - We’ve added In Person and Virtual checkboxes, if the role has telehealth enabled and the provider accepts telehealth appointments.
- Creating Video Session Appointments - If the provider accepts telehealth appointments, they will be able to schedule future video appointments in both the “patient profile” and in the “scheduling tab”.
- Appointment Cards on the Calendar - When creating an appointment via the Scheduling tab or via the Call Center, we have added an in-person icon and a video icon on the appointment card to help distinguish the type of appointment created.
- Email/Text Notifications - Patients will receive an email/text when the appointment is scheduled, 20 minutes before appointment if an assessment is requested, and 5 minutes before appointment if assessment is not assigned or is not complete.
- Resend an Invitation - If a patient loses their email/text, you can now resend the information to your patient via the Patient Profile Visits tab.
- Reminder Notification for Provider - When a provider is logged into Tridiuum ONE, they will be reminded they have an upcoming video session with a patient.
- Launch On-demand Video Sessions (existing functionality)
Providers who already have video functionality will not need to turn this toggle on when released; it will be on by default.
During a video session, patients and providers will have the ability to share their screen via the share icon. Providers will want to make sure no PHI is available (other than the patient’s) that could be unintentionally shared.
For scheduled appointments, if a patient arrives greater than 5 minutes, we provide them with a waiting room landing page with no button to begin session. This page is refreshed every 5 minutes to verify the time (and in case an appointment time has changed) and will automatically redirect the patient to the “Join video session” page at the appropriate time.
Pairing At Home Assessments with an Appointment
Providers can now select what appointment an at home assessment should be paired to based on visits scheduled with the patient.
Calendar: Confirmed vs. Unconfirmed Appointments
As we can now get text confirmations for appointments, we now display if the appointment has been confirmed. If unconfirmed, it will be in grey.
Call Center Application
Several updates have been made to the Call Center application to allow call center agents to be able to filter available appointments by virtual and/or in person. (This will require providers to add/update their availability) and be able to schedule virtual or in person appointments based on what the Provider has entered.
Screen and Refer Dashboard
Changed the column titled “Total Booked External” to “Total Booked”. Added a new column with “Total Booked External” that is the total number of patients actually booked with an external provider appointment (either external only or external and internal). Updated “External Referrals” to “External Eligible”. This is the number that were eligible for external referral.
