Executive Summary

Highlights of the release are below, with a detailed listing at the end of this document.

Adult Mental Health Dashboard Loading Improvements

We’ve made performance improvements to the Adult Mental Health Dashboard; it will take less time for Anxiety, Alcohol, Drug, Medication Reports to load. Performance of our applications is always a high priority and we are constantly continuing to work on our products to ensure they have optimal performance for the best user experience.

Assessment Mobility/Responsive Design

We have improved the patients' experience on the web application to use responsive design, so the assessment taking experience is more flexible when using mobile devices of various sizes. This has been reviewed for Safari, Chrome, and Firefox on iOS, iPadOS, and Android devices.

Call Center Application

We have made several improvements for the Call Center Application:

  • Hold Feature Improvement: In the new Hold feature, the held availability shows in the call center application and is by default selected when the provider is chosen. However, if the held appointment was not on a day in the default view, the call center agent would have to scroll through the days to find it.
  • Removed "Religion" from the Filter: When setting up their profiles, providers can indicate that they provide “Faith Based” counseling services under “Categories” under “Professional”. In the Call Center application, agents could select to search for providers who provide counseling for specific religions, ex: Christian, Catholic, etc, however because religious specificity isn’t something filterable, it didn’t reduce the search criteria. To reduce this potential confusion, we have removed this filter from the search. We will continue to evaluate introducing filters to improve provider matching.
  • Removed the Ability the Schedule Appointments in the Past: We have updated the call center scheduling filter to not allow agents to book appointments in the past. In the example below “today’s date” was February 11th. The agent would not be able to schedule an appointment prior to February 11th, as they are disabled.
  • Rescheduling Appointment from Call Center Application with the < Back button: When an appointment was being rescheduled from the call center application and the < BACK button was utilized, the original appointment was not being removed from the original provider’s schedule and the patient profile. This has been corrected.

PDF Reports: Youth Mental Health

For Youth assessments that have an age requirement that determines whether the patient takes their portion of the assessment, the PDF reports would display a static statement, such as “Patient self-report not collected under 8 years old.” regardless of the patient’s age. We have made this text dynamic and only displays if the text is applicable to the patient’s age.

Tooltip Updates for Youth Assessments

We have updated the ANG (Anger), ANX (Anxiety), and DEP (Depression) tooltips for all youth mental health and substance use assessments. We have removed the verbiage of "There is a 2-item screener, followed by 3 additional questions if the patient screen positive..." as this is not always the case, given various client configurations of the assessments. For example, instead of only presenting the first 2 screener questions and follow-up with 3 additional questions if the patient screens positive, the patient is always asked all 5 questions.

Other

Various usability enhancements for Provider Availability Report - Holds and Rescheduling a Patient via the Visits Tab are detailed below.
