How do I use the assessment in my sessions?
There are a number of ways assessment results can be used during session. The first level of reviewing assessment results is to look for alerts on the Clinical Home prior to your session. During the session, follow up with your patient about these critical alerts and proceed according to your organization's protocol and your own clinical judgement (i.e., safety planning, referrals, etc). Scores on the assessment's measures can be viewed on the Clinical Home for the patient's most recent assessment directly alongside the patient's initial assessment. Scores are color-coded by severity level and can provide a quick snap-shot view of the patient's distress and progress.
Click on the date of the most recent assessment/initial assessment from the Clinical Home to view the Monitoring Report/Intake Report and Q&A Report. Intake/Monitoring Reports will provide more detail regarding Critical Alerts, Expected Treatment Response, Medication, Symptoms & Functional Impairment, Substance Use Detail, and Therapeutic Alliance trends. The Q&A Report lists all of the questions that were asked and the patient's answers. Reports can be viewed by the provider prior to the session or together with the patient during the session. Use your clinical judgement to decide if reviewing the reports together would be aligned with the patient's treatment goals.

Click on the patient's name from the Clinical Home to access the Patient Detail Page. Here, similar information from the Intake/Monitoring Reports can be viewed with more graphics. All of the assessments the patient has taken can be viewed here. Again, use your clinical judgement to decide if reviewing the Patient Detail Page with the patient would be beneficial to the therapeutic process.
