Setting up Your Profile - NCAL

Much of the scheduling functionality Tridiuum ONE uses to match patients to providers utilizes information from your profile such as age ranges you see, types of therapy you specialize in, type of appointments (virtual vs in person) you offer, and more!

Therefore, it is IMPERATIVE you create your profile as soon as you log in for the first time!

  1. Start by clicking on the settings gear icon at the top right of your screen and selecting My Profile from the drop-down menu.

2. The MY PROFILE box will appear with (up to) three tabs across the top; Personal, Professional, and Site.

3. Fill in as much information on each of these tabs as you can. Always click the green SAVE CHANGES button at the bottom after adding information!

Personal Tab:

NOTE: Many fields are vital in being able to accommodate patients requests for providers.  When entering a language, please list all languages spoken (including English if applicable). The fields that are very important include Sex, Race, Ethnicity and Language(s).  Example: Many patients request a male or female provider.  If this field is not completed then you the provider will not display as an option to be booked when a call agent filters to specifically look for a male or female provider.  In addition many patients specifically request a race, ethnicity and language for their provider.  The more information you can put in these fields will help to match the requests of the patients when booking with a new provider.

Professional Tab:

All our contracted and credentialed external providers can see our Kaiser patients with the following insurance plans: Commercial Self-Funded, KP Classic-Commercial, KP DHMO-Deductible, and KP Medi-Cal.  Only LCSW and licensed psychologists can see Medicare patients via Tridiuum referrals (KP Senior Advantage falls under Medicare).

NOTE: Client focus is vital to enable Tridiuum to book patients who are within the age group of your treating population. If this field is not completed a provider who only treats adult could be referred a pediatric patient.

As an HMO, external clinicians are not able to charge late or cancellation fees as this is a violation of the contractual agreement. A sample statement that could be appropriate for this section: “Please notify of cancellations x hours ahead of appointment. “

NOTE: The more information that is completed in your profile allows for greater matching of patients to providers based upon specialty.

Site Tab:

NOTE: Please review the site information that has been added to confirm all information is spelled correctly and are accurate! Address and Phone Number entered under the site tab will be PATIENT FACING! You are required to enter a mailing address in order to complete your profile.

NOTE: Many patients are unsure of next steps once they are booked to a provider for their intake appointment.  The more information we can share with the patient on expectations and next steps the more we can prepare the patient for their first appointment.  A great way to share next steps is to include that in the description section of your profile.

Examples to include would be:  "Prior to your first appointment, you can expect a phone call to confirm you appointment date and time and instructions on how to join a video session or directions to the office.  Also you can expect to receive consent forms that need to be signed prior to your first session.  If you have any questions prior to being contacted please reach out to the office 555-555-5555.”
